# Choose your subdomain

When signing up, you will be asked to choose your subdomain. Your subdomain needs to be a unique identifier for your [team](https://docs.digitalsamba.com/dashboard/setting-up-your-team), you can consider it your team name. A branded domain will make your brand more visible and provide brand recognition.
