# Choose your subdomain

When signing up, you will be asked to choose your subdomain. Your subdomain needs to be a unique identifier for your [team](/dashboard/setting-up-your-team.md), you can consider it your team name. A branded domain will make your brand more visible and provide brand recognition.&#x20;
