Breakout rooms

As a team member, you can configure any specific room's breakout room settings.

• Enable breakout rooms

  Allow moderators* to split meeting participants into separate, smaller rooms. Note End-to-end encryption is incompatible with this feature.

• Pre-create breakout rooms (optional)

  Set up your room with up to 500 breakout rooms and give them custom names. Remember that moderators* will be able to also create rooms during the session.

*Moderators refers to participants with the 'manage breakouts' permission, in this context.

*Transcriptions are not supported in breakout rooms.

*Breakout rooms are exclusively available within the new room creation settings due to the variety of configuration options they support.
