Introduced the option to manage libraries directly from the dashboard, allowing developers to create new libraries, upload images PDFs, and other Microsoft Office document formats (DOC, XLS, and PPT), bulk delete, organise, download, and prepare libraries prior to meetings.
To create a new library, go to the Libraries section, click on the 'Create new Library' button, enter a name for your library, and confirm by clicking 'Save'. Your new library will be instantly added and ready for use.
To rename a library, go to the Libraries section, locate the library you want to rename, click on the three-dot icon on the right and choose the 'Rename' option. Enter the new name and confirm by clicking 'Rename'. The library will be updated with the new name instantly.
To delete a library, go to the Libraries section, locate the library you want to delete, click on the three-dot icon on the right and choose the 'Delete' option. Confirm the action, and the library will be permanently removed.
To search for files, you can use the global search for libraries located at the top of the dashboard to find a specific library quickly. Once inside a library, use the localised search bar at the top to narrow down results and locate files within that library.
To organise your library, go inside the library, create folders to categorise your content, and upload files or embedded content into the folders. Alternatively, you can simply upload any supported content directly into the library without creating folders. Manage your library content efficiently with the same delete and rename actions available for individual files, embedded content, and folders. Additionally, bulk delete is supported for files within folders, making it easy to organise and maintain your library.
Content libraries can be managed through the developer API, providing developers with the flexibility to create, organise, and manage files programmatically. This allows for seamless integration and automation of content management workflows.
To easily embed content from various platforms and apps (You Tube, Vimeo), click on "Add file" and select "Embed content".
To assign any chosen library to a room, navigate to the Content Library section under either room-specific or default settings. Click on the "Select Library" dropdown menu and choose the desired library from the list.
User-Based Content Library A User-Based Content Library refers to a personalised library where content is accessible only to participants associated with an external ID who have the "Manage personal content library" permission enabled.
For example, if the "Manage Personal Content Library" permission is enabled, and External ID field populated, a user can manage their own content, separate from the main room's content, and have full control over it. This ensures personalised file management within the platform.
In contrast, content shared within a room is accessible to all participants with the appropriate permissions ("Manage Content" or "Present Content").
