Branding

As a team owner or team admin, you can configure your team's default room's branding settings.

• Application logo

  You may add a custom logo to be displayed in the application screens such as the login and join screens. Your logo should be max. 400 px wide and 80 px high. The filetype should be SVG or PNG, and file size should not be more than 1 MB. Be sure to upload a logo in a colour that will contrast adequately with your ‘appearance’ setting selection.

• Room logo The Digital Samba logo comes as factory default. You may, however, add a custom logo to be displayed in your rooms and recordings. Your logo should be max. 400 px wide and 80 px high. The filetype should be SVG or PNG, and file size should not be more than 1 MB. Be sure to upload a logo in a colour that will contrast adequately with your background colour selection. You’ll need to toggle on ‘Show logo in room’ and ‘Show logo in recordings’ to effectively display it in rooms and recordings.

• Show logo in room When enabled, the logo will be shown in the rooms, by default. Disabling is only available in the Create plan and higher.

• Favicon You can enhance your website's branding by adding a custom favicon, which will appear on browser tabs when the rooms are not embedded within an iframe. This feature is included starting from the Launch plan and in all higher-tier plans.

This feature functions correctly on all desktop browsers except for Safari, and on all Android browsers. However, Safari on desktop and Chrome on iOS revert to displaying the browser's default icon. Other iOS browsers will show the Digital Samba icon.

To ensure full compatibility across all browsers, you can set a custom CNAME. With this setup, the favicon is sourced directly from the custom domain. The CNAME feature is also included starting from the Launch plan and in all higher-tier plans.

• HTML title You may add a custom title to be displayed on browser tabs, when rooms are not embedded in an iframe.

• Appearance Appearance will control the background colour of panels, modals and join screen. You may choose 'Light' or 'Dark'.

• Primary colour Select a colour for the interactive icons and buttons.

• Background colour Select a colour for the background.

• Toolbar colour Select a background colour for the toolbar.

• Toolbar position Choose between 'Left', 'Bottom' or 'Right' for the toolbar position. Mobile screens will dynamically position the toolbar on the shorter side of the screen according to orientation.
