General settings

As a team member, you can configure any specific room's general settings.

  • Room name You may give your room a name of your choice or let Digital Samba Embedded auto-generate a name for it, if you leave the field empty.

  • Room description You may optionally add a description to help other team members understand your purpose or even to keep it clear for yourself, over time.

  • Enable privacy In public rooms, participants can join using a simple room link that only includes the room name, without needing any additional token. However, in private rooms, participants will require a session token to join, so the link provided will need to include the necessary token for them to access the room.

  • End-to-end encryption Secure usernames, chat messages, and video / audio streams, including shared screens with encryption keys that only participants in the room have access to.
